Circular Features North of Olympus Mons

The main goals of studying the circular features to the north of Olympus Mons are to understand the geological origin of their viscous flow materials and the relation between the flow system and deformation in the surrounding area. Past research has interpreted these circular features to be consistent with glacial or periglacial features called pingos.
