Take Mars with You

Whether it’s a Treo 650, PlayStation Portable, or maybe a new iPhone, you can still check out what’s new at HiRISE with page specifically designed for smaller screens:

HiRISE and AvantGo
If you’re an AvantGo client, you can create a custom channel and take HiRISE with you.

  • Login to your AvantGo account
  • Click the Channels tab
  • Click “Create Personal Channel”
  • Title your channel HiRISE Mobile or any title of your choice
  • For the URL, enter http://hirise.lpl.arizona.edu/togo/avant_go.php
  • For Maximum Channel Size, enter 300
  • For link depth, enter 2
  • Click the “Save Channel” button.

That’s it! The next time you sync your device with AvantGo, your new channel will update. Please note that the images we make available for AvantGo are scaled down to display on smaller screens, but they’re still amazing to look at and carry with you.
